Grants of up to £2700 for home heating improvements
The Warm Front £300 Heating Rebate
If you do not receive a benefit but you are aged 60 or over and own your own home or rent it from a private landlord, you could claim a Warm Front £300 Heating Rebate towards the cost of repairing or installing a heating system.
Since 2001, Warm Front has helped thousands of people receive insulation and heating improvements to make their homes warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient. More funds have now been made available to help homeowners and private tenants otherwise not eligible for Warm Front, who are aged 60 and over.
The Government have decided to offer a £300 rebate off the cost of installing a new central-heating system or repairing a broken one.
The rebate only applies if you have no heating system or one that does not work. The £300 Heating Rebate applies to gas, electric, oil or solid fuel installations and repairs.
